Summer Festivals Continues @ SM Bacolod CYBERZONE

Welcome to the City Of Smiles! BACOLOD CITY
Last May 23, 2010 Afternoon I visited again SM Bacolod for the Cyberzone Summer Festivals and here we go:

 

SM Bacolod is located along Rizal Street, Reclamation Area, Bacolod City and it is the 29TH Supermall of SM Prime Holdings and the 3rd in the Visayas Region. It opened on March 1, 2007.

SM Mall is divided into two buildings called the "North Wing" and the "South Wing" and SM Cyberzone is located between the two buildings or at bridge were it connects the two buildings.

 

At first I go to Cyberzone area where i thought that the Summer Festival event is located there but i couldn't find it.

 

So I passed at the Cyberzone Hallway and ask somebody if where is Cyberzone Summer Festival Event.

The Guard i ask said that it is located at "North Wing" @ Even Area.

And here they are, Welcome to Cyberzone Summer Festival!

Can't wait to sign up and register.

I bring my own camera to take a picture for this Photo Booth because picture taking is only for the first 100 visitors and Upload Express Station. So I'm already late, many people already visit this event.

Cool Cellphones, Cameras, Netbook!

I wish i can own that Netbook. Its Cool, Classy and Durable.

And has many features and benefits that everybody will love!

 And a Wii - the high-tech gaming console as of now. Wii leads the generation over the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in worldwide sales. Wii sounds like 'we', which emphasizes that the console is for everyone. Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii.

Its very easy to play. I like the game Golf. Its like I'm playing true golf !

 Look at this electronic Drums @ Music Booth. You can become a musician someday.

After that is the raffle booth, where all successful registrants and after they enjoy all the latest gadgets they can win some of the giveaways of Zyberzones.

And at last, I receive a gift pack to blogger like me.

SM Cyberzone Blog Contest

Mechanics:

1. This contest is open to all bloggers who have blog sites available for public viewing. Photo Blogs and Video Blogs can be part of their main blog entry.
• The blog must be about the experience of visiting the booths and playing the activities of SM Cyberzone Summer Fest event.
• There must be a main blog entry in text form. The main blog entry can be supported by photo galleries and/or videos depending on the writing style of the blogger.
• Blog Entries can be in Tagalog, English, or in the dialect of the blogger and his/her followers.
• Minimum of 500 words.
2. To join, simply register in www.smcyberzone.ph/register
3. To know SM Cyberzone’s Summer Fest schedule, visit www.smcyberzone.ph/schedule or see posters for the schedule of the events.
4. Contest Period is from May 6  to June 4, 2010.
5. Registration
• Online: To register for an event, provide the following details in the registration form:
• Name

• Onsite: Walk-in bloggers can register in the registration booth of their chosen even. They must fill up the registration form below:

6. Once registered, bloggers can submit the link of their blog entries of the event to www.smcyberzone.ph and provide the following details:
• Name
• Attended Event
• Blog Entry Link
• Blog Entry Name
• Date of Blog Entry
7. Bloggers can submit their entries until June 4, 2010, 12 mn.
8. The Entries tab of the site will contain all the entries submitted by bloggers. This tab will be updated twice a week, Tuesday and Friday.
9. Judging and announcement of winners will be done at SM Corporate Office with a DTI representative to witness the proceeding on June 9, 2010, 2PM.
10. Blog Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:
• Event Coverage: 60%
Blog coverage of all the activities of the event.
• Relevance to the SM Cyberzone Brand: 40%
Creative writing in advertising Cyberzon as the store for all the latest gadgets found in the event.
11. Judges
• Margareth Tee - 2 years in the field of digital marketing, Ms. Margareth Tee has managed several blog events including Bistro’s chain of restaurants like Fish and Co. and Friday’s. She has been with Yehey Corp., the pioneer in digital marketing, as a Marketing Solutions Specialist before she moved to the marketing department as a Senior Marketing Officer.
• Aldrich Policarpio – With over a year in Digital PR, Mr. Aldrich Policarpio is considered as the Blogger Management and Viral Marketing expert in Yehey Corp. He spearheaded the recent Nestea Fit Camp Hot in The Fort and brought several bloggers with him for Digital PR. He’s a one man team when it comes to Digi PR, from event conceptualization to reporting.
• Mattel Soliven – As a Senior Marketing Services Manager in Yehey Corp., Ms. Mattel Soliven is the front line in convincing clients to try and run campaigns in digital. With Yehey’s pool of digital services, Blog Marketing never missed Ms. Mattel Soliven’s proposals. She has handled several blog events of big companies such as Unilab, Celeteque, Isuzu and Island Cove.
12. Winners will be notified via:
• Registered mail
• Voice Call
• Email
• Website announcement
13. In case of a tie, SM Cyberzone SVP for Marketing, Mr. Patrick Pacla, will rate the blogs using the set criteria.
14. Prizes are not convertible to cash. Taxes from the prizes exceeding P10,000 are to be shouldered by SM Cyberzone.
• Grand Prize: 1 winner of Asus X58Le worth PhP29,900
• Minor prizes: 10 winners of Torque phones worth Php999.00 (10 units)
15. Winners shall bring at least two(2) of the following proof upon claiming the prize:
• Registered mail
• Two(2) Government IDs (SSS,Driver’s License, etc.)
16. Winners may claim their prizes at the nearest SM Mall Marketing office where the contestant registered .
17. Unclaimed prizes after sixty(60) days of notification will be forfeited with prior DTI approval.
18. By participating in this Contest, participants agree to allow SM Cyberzone to use their blog or website link to any Cyberzone PR related campaigns and to participate in promo advertisement (publication of broadcast winners’ names and photos) without additional consideration. To the extent allowed by law, acceptance of the prizes constitutes permission for SM to publish the winners’ names and / or show them on ads without prior notice and without additional consideration.
19. All employees of SM, their agencies / third party suppliers, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity are disqualified from joining the promo.
20. The contest organizer’s decision is final with the concurrence of DTI.
