A Passion for Mountaineering

Mt. Maculot located in Cuenca, Batangas - Philippines is the most memorable climbed in my entire life way back in 2008,  because while taking steps up to the highest peak, enjoying the climb and have fun taking pictures, I together with my mountaineering buddies planted mango seedlings along the way in return to our mother nature that helps the environment in so many ways. The hiking trails were really awesome. The downward then upward V-shaped trails make my endurance training became useful. Either way, the trails are steep but reaching Mt. Maculot’s peak makes my visual rewards really worth. Most of us climbers head to the Rockies, a place where rocky formation stands beside Taal Lake, creating a scenic and panoramic view, encompassing the whole of Taal Lake including the world's smallest Volcano - the Taal volcano. The climb was really a memorable because of the great breathtaking views of the place as well as helping the community lived there by planting mango trees and adventures that many adventurists like me will cherish. And we will be going back again after ten years to see the fruits of what we’ve planted.

 Mountaineering Buddies!

Still on the halfway to the peak.
Pose for a while for the great view.

Which way to Rockies?
